Luke Eldridge's

Continuing to go deeper into uncharted territory, Luke Eldridge has just recently started a stop-motion animation project that will include a team of other artists. The purpose of these films will be to further promote wire sculpture as a multi-tiered, fine art form. The first of these films has already been produced and you can see frames in the picture gallery of his first experimental film.

This is a project that is a collaboration of Luke ELdridge and fellow artist Allister Martin, who works as a freelance photographer. The end result wil be a series of limited-edition prints that are soon to be come collector's items.

This has been a long time in the making with many more miles to travel before the journey is done. The series will consist of at least fifteen shadow boxed sculptures that will illustrate a story of a young man's journey through knighthood. Once completed, these shadow boxes will be a touring exhibit and everyone who attends will receive a copy of the book these boxes describe.
